Pat Jones

Pat emigrated from the UK late 1986 and began her career at Murdoch University in the External Studies Unit, involved in maintaining student records of people studying in the “off-campus” mode. After a secondment to the central Student Records section Pat then joined the staff of the Veterinary School in May 1990 as the Administrative Secretary, remaining in that position until November 2003. Her duties were varied, but focused mainly on student administration and the particular needs of the veterinary students. Pat then was successful in gaining the position as Administrative Assistant to the Head of School of Chiropractic in November 2003 and has brought to the course her years of administrative expertise gained in the Vet School. She particularly enjoys the student contact and the many challenges that a newly formed course can bring.
