The Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Chiropractic is a natural extension for the accredited Chiropractor with an interest in working with athletes.

Building on their previous education in the management and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, the Chiropractor will concentrate on the assessment and management of injuries associated with sports. The practicality of the information on sports and their injuries is a primary emphasis of this course but the treatment and procedures will also be applicable to an everyday practice consisting of all types of patients. This branch of chiropractic is rapidly growing internationally and the interest in sports is worldwide.

The course is articulated with the Federation Internationale de Chiropractic du Sport (FICS) and its International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD). The Postgraduate Diploma is a 24-point course of which the ICSSD provides 12 of the points.

Employment Prospects: Most of the participants will be employed in an active clinic or in some other aspect of the profession. This course will enhance the practitioner's qualifications and open opportunities to working in the high profile sporting events in the world. It will also elevate the Chiropractic profession's credibility and align them to the similar educational format of other health care practitioners.

Admission Requirements: Completion of 12 points of the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD).

Course Structure — 24 points

Prerequisite Study — 12 points
The Postgraduate Diploma is 24 points but students will receive 12 points upon entry for the completion of the ICSSD (International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma) through the articulation with the FICS (Federation Internationale de Chiropractic du Sport).
